Beskrivelse

What if being hard on yourself isn’t the thing keeping you ambitious? For a long time, I genuinely believed that pain meant something was working. Training should hurt. Rest needed to be earned. If someone else trained seven days while I trained six, they were getting ahead. And somewhere underneath all of that was a belief I didn’t question for years: If I stop pushing myself, maybe I’ll stop growing. In this episode, I want to talk about what happened when I started questioning that. We’ll explore the difference between self-kindness and letting yourself off the hook, why “enough” needs to become something specific enough to actually use, what discomfort can and cannot tell you, and why joy deserves a real place in your life — not whatever scraps are left after everything productive is finished. Because self-kindness doesn’t have to be the reward you get once you’ve improved enough. It can be part of how you grow.
