Beskrivelse
Difficult negotiations await when Britain files for divorce with the EU in the spring. The EU leadership has made it clear that whatever the outcome, there will be no easy solutions for the UK. Brexit may be the most painful blow, but the entire EU is currently witnessing a renationalization of policy making which questions the future of the European project. However, in the wake of Brexit, Europe seems to be pulling together – and the renationalization trend could in fact bridge the critical gap between technocracy and eurosceptic populations, says Fabrizio Tassinari, senior researcher at DIIS.
