As the Associate Director of Global Learning for Creative Commons, Paul Stacey helped creators, faculty, students, librarians, and the public generate a global public commons of knowledge and culture. While at Creative Commons, he co-authored the free to copy, share and remix book Made with Creative Commons. In the book, he explored open-source business models used by companies worldwide, from Arduino to Cards Against Humanity. In this episode, Paul Stacey shares some essential knowledge, insights, and inspirations about the origins of the commons, the path to where we are today, and how open-source is changing the future of product design.
