What does digital transformation actually look like on farm? In this episode of Arla Unplugged – Byte Sized, we move the conversation out of the studio and onto one of our owner farms south of Aarhus, where digital transformation is becoming part of daily decisions in the fields, in the barns, across farm management and in the interface between farmers and the business. Host Jóhann Thór Haahr Hansen is joined by Hanne Søndergaard, Chief Sustainability and Agriculture Officer at Arla, for a grounded conversation about what digital transformation means for farmers in practice, and for the business that supports them. The episode explores how farming has changed in the digital age, how digital tools and data can support decision-making and create new value, and how farmer owners respond to new tools and ways of working. And, as always in Byte Sized, the conversation comes with a few dairy tastings along the way. Arla Foods is an international dairy company owned by more than 7,600 farmers from Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Arla Foods is one of the leading players in the international dairy arena with well-known brands like Arla®, Lurpak®, Puck® and Castello®. Arla Foods is focused on providing good dairy nourishment from sustainable farming and operations and is also the world's largest manufacturer of organic dairy products.
