6. Bleeding in early pregnancy. What does it mean?

Bleeding and spotting in early pregnancy can be really frightening.  We've got our own experience of Brigid having a big bleed when she was seven weeks pregnant and it came as such a shock and I remember feeling anxious -  thinking we lost the baby.  Even with my expert knowledge, I was really scared.
