#97 Kate Favre Guldberg Rebels and Runs from God, but He Restores and Renews Purpose

Kate grew up in a loving Christian home, surrounded by faith, family, and ministry. Traveling with her father as he served in different places gave her an early understanding of church life and caring for others. But during her teenage years, she struggled deeply with relationships, school, and questions about faith. Falling into destructive environments, she became involved with drugs, experienced homelessness, and battled depression and addiction while running from both God and home.Yet her story becomes one of restoration. Reconnecting with faith and family, Kate began a journey of healing through rehabilitation, where she experienced God restoring her “orphan heart," which led her to study at Acts Academy in Denmark. As she grew in faith and freedom, she discovered a calling to serve and equip others. Through seasons of formation, leadership, and ministry, Kate developed a passion for communication, storytelling, and teaching. She eventually stepped into a teaching role, helping others grow in faith and identity.
