Beskrivelse
Big welcome to TalkingDox! Ana and Max have just landed in Radio Genlüd with a bunch of documentary chit chat. By the name alone, you might think we’ve finally found a way to make dogs talk. But TalkingDox is all about non-fiction filmmaking. Our show explores documentary cinema through reviews, interviews with industry professionals, and thematic connections to the current state of the world. In our first episode of the show, we discuss pet cemeteries and ski-flying. We bring Gates of Heaven (Errol Morris, 1978) and The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner (Werner Herzog, 1974) out of the cinema to better understand their particular approach to truth, characters, and meaning. Whether you have or have not come across their work, finish that Letterboxd review and tune in once a week to keep TalkingDox!
