This episode was very interesting to create, both because it was with a man from another country, with a slightly different culture, but also because it was very spontaneous. The only thing I knew about Matt was that he was from the U.S. and that he only had 1 day left in Copenhagen before going home. We met on a beautiful early evening in September 2022, and took a walk in H.C Ørested Parken in the center of Copenhagen. Jumped straight into the questions and conversations. The conversation reflected Matt’s energy - straight forward, honest, passionate and serious. And we went deep! Talking about loss, grief, growth, love, near death experiences and soooo much more. I’m very excited to release this episode - and also a little bit nervous. I enjoyed this meeting very much - it felt meaningful, authentic and real. I haven’t spoken to Matt since he left Copenhagen last year - and I can’t wait for him to hear the podcast, if he ever will. Anyway, Matt - if you are out there, THANK YOU.
