Welcome to RadioFolk.dk's podcast Folk Live. In this edition of the podcast we will be featuring the Danish Tone of Voice Orchestra, recorded at the famous Danish Tønder Festival, that runs the last weekend of August every year. Tone of Voice Orchestra is a 10 piece powerhouse of a band that creates a melting pot of genres such as Scandinavian roots, jazz, balkan, blues, americana, and indie-pop, with a unique sound created by four female voices and quite a few instruments, such as bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, saxophone, violin, flute, cittern, double bass, drums, and percussion. For the next 30 minutes or so, Tone of Voice Orchestra will introduce you to a number of great new songs written by the the two founders of the band, singer Trinelise Væring and saxophonist Frederik Lundin.
